The budget of the movie was around 250 crores.

Before this Super Star Rajini's Lingaa had collected 22 crores for the opening.

Film Producer Ibrahim Rowther Passed Away

The film producer A.S. Ibrahim Rowther died at a private hospital after a serious health condition. He was 64.

"He was being treated at the SRM hospital in Vadapalani for quite some time. He was suffering from kidney problem.

As every one aware about his closeness with actor cum politician Vijayakant films like Bharathan and Karuppu Nila were hit.He was unmarried.
