Tamil Actor Surya celebrated his 39th birthday yesterday (July 23). This birthday has become a special birthday for him because he is basking with the success of Singam 2. Saravanan was his name and he became famous with his stage name Surya. He has acted in 34 films since 1997. He first film  Nerukku Neer in 1997 with Illayathalapathy Vijay and became a full-time hero with Sandhippoma, which was released in the year 1998. Surya was born on 23rd July 1975 in Coimbatore and he is the eldest son of Tamil versatile actor Sivakumar. He got the approval for his love from his parents and married to Tamil actress Jyothika in 2006. The couple is blessed with two children. Belated wishes to Surya.

Surya's New Film

Tamil actor Surya, after the success of Singam 2, is all set to wear Khaki uniform again. The latest buzz going in Kollywood is that Surya may play a doctor role in the film, who turns a cop towards the end. Actor, who is busy with Linguswamy's project at present is likely to play cop role in the same. It is said that the plot may be scripted in such a way, the events that take place in the doctor's life will make him join Police service.

Vishal's Pattathu Yaanai release date

Vishal’s forthcoming film titled Pattathu Yaanai is slated for a grand scale release  world wide on July 26. Pattathu Yaanai introduces Action King Arjun’s daughter Aishwarya to Kollywood film industry.  Bhoopathy Pandian wielded the megaphone for the film and Michael Rayappan produced it on Global Infotainment production. The film  Pattathu Yaanai is an action entertainer with ample comedy, Santhanam played a comic role in the movie. Pattathu Yaanai has musical scores by Thaman.

Singam 2 releasing July 5

Singam 2 releasing July 5 (tomorrow), expectations are very high. In the film Singam2 the lead roles Surya and Anushka Shetty will remain the same and many new characters were added . South Indian actress Hansika Motwani will be seen in the lead role with Anushka Shetty. Vivek is doing a different role in the film. The comedy portions are handled by one more well known comedian Santhanam. Singam ends with Surya killing Prakash Raj by putting end to his anti-social activities, now the antagonist role is succeeded by the Hollywood actor Danny Sapani, who plays the role of an African convict. Vijaykumar, Nassar and Radha Ravi will not be seen in the movie, whereas Rahman and Mukesh Rishi are added. Singam 2 will be the Hansika's debut with Hari and Surya combo. The role of Hansika in the movie is still a mystery.  Anjali, a well known actress and model, is doing an item number in the movie,
