Surya’s debut Hindi film is “Raktha Charithra” which is going to be directed by Ram Gopal Varma. In a recent interview Surya said that after hearing the story he agreed to act in the film. He said that he will introduce in the first part of film - only in the climax and in the second part he will act in the full film. The story of the film is based on life of Parritala Ravi and Madelachervu Suri, politicians of Andhra. The famous actor Vivek Oberoi will act as Parritala Ravi and Surya is going to do the role of Madelachervu Suri.
After getting National award for her acting talents, “Priyamani” got the main role in the film “Raavan” in Mani Ratnam’s direction. Now she got the offer to act as heroine in the film “Raktha Charithra” also.
