National Film Awards - Bala and Gautham Menon selected

Hi friends, great news for Tamil cine lovers. 56th National Film Awards for the year 2008 was announced on 23rd January. In this announcement Director Bala selected as Best Director for his film “Naan Kadavul”. Gautham Menon selected as best music director for his work for the film “Vaaranam Aayiram”. Director Bala said that if actors got the award he will be happier and also said that he dedicate this award to his director Balu Mahendra and Akila Balu Mahendra.

The other awarads are Antaheen(Bengali film) – Best film, Upendra Limaye (Marathi film”Jogwa”)-Best actor, Priyanka Chopra (Hindi film “Fashion”-Best actress, Hariharan – best male singer, Shreya Ghoshal – best female singer, Shams patel – best child actor. Let us all congratulate them

Best Actor awards for Superstar and Ulaganayagan ?

State Government of Tamil Nadu are going to announce the film awards in few days. Sources said that Rajini will get Best Actor Award 2007 for the film Sivaji and Kamalhassan will receive the Best Actor Award 2008 for the film Dasavatharam.
This is great news for the fans of Rajini and Kamalhassan.

We will watch them in the stage in the grand function. The function will be held in Chennai and Chief Minister is going to give the awards to the winners. Earlier Superstar received the Award for his film Chandramukhi and Ulaganayagan for his performance in the film Vettaiyadu Vilaiyadu.
