Hi friends, great news for Tamil cine lovers. 56th National Film Awards for the year 2008 was announced on 23rd January. In this announcement Director Bala selected as Best Director for his film “Naan Kadavul”. Gautham Menon selected as best music director for his work for the film “Vaaranam Aayiram”. Director Bala said that if actors got the award he will be happier and also said that he dedicate this award to his director Balu Mahendra and Akila Balu Mahendra.
The other awarads are Antaheen(Bengali film) – Best film, Upendra Limaye (Marathi film”Jogwa”)-Best actor, Priyanka Chopra (Hindi film “Fashion”-Best actress, Hariharan – best male singer, Shreya Ghoshal – best female singer, Shams patel – best child actor. Let us all congratulate them
