Ulaganayagan Kamal’s daughter Shrutihassan is going to act with Surya. A.R.Murugadass is the director of the film. After the success of Surya and A,R.Murugadoss combination “Ghajini”, everybody’s expectation is very high. This is film is Shrutihassan’s first film in Tamil. She is very talented girl. She scores music for the film "Unnaipol Oruvan" and received appreciation from all. Her first film in Hindi "Luck" is not a super hit movie, it was well received by audience.
After the continuous success of Surya's films, Surya is slowly but steadily coming to No.1 position in Tamil film industry. This film is his 26th film.
